Shahdagh Tourism Complex - Azerbaijan
Qusar, Azerbaijan
Located in northern Azerbaijan, amid the striking natural landscape of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, the tourism complex is one of the country’s major investments, strengthening Azerbaijan’s tourism infrastructure and raising the region’s international profile. Since its opening, Shahdagh has attracted strong interest from both local and international visitors as one of the rising tourism centers of the Caucasus.
Developed across approximately 74,000 m² of indoor area in the Gusar region, the complex offers a comprehensive tourism experience with accommodation facilities, social spaces, and year-round recreational opportunities.
Among the project’s most critical components, the ski slopes, cable car lines, snowmaking systems, artificial ponds, and all technical infrastructure works were delivered through DİA Holding’s engineering and execution capabilities. Specifically designed for the region’s challenging geographical and climatic conditions, these systems form the core engineering infrastructure that enables the facility to operate sustainably, safely, and without interruption.
With its robust technical infrastructure, approach in harmony with nature, and technically demanding engineering solutions, Shahdagh stands out as one of the key projects representing Azerbaijan’s international tourism vision.
