Prof. Dr. Dimitrie Gerota Hospital - Romania

Bükreş, Romania

As CCN İnşaat, we are proud to be delivering the Prof. Dr. Dimitrie Gerota Emergency Hospital Project, one of Romania’s most significant healthcare infrastructure investments. Supported by European Union funds, this prestigious project represents a key component of the Romanian Ministry of Interior’s vision for modernizing its healthcare infrastructure and aims to make a significant contribution to the country’s healthcare system.

The hospital complex, to be located in central Bucharest, is planned to have a construction area of approximately 110,499 m². Targeted for completion within 29 months, the project will create comprehensive healthcare infrastructure with a capacity of 492 beds, enabling modern healthcare services to be delivered efficiently and to high standards. With its large-scale structure and advanced technical infrastructure, the project stands as an important benchmark among healthcare investments in Romania.

The project stands out not only for its capacity, but also for its environmental performance and sustainability criteria. Designed in accordance with nZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) standards, the hospital is being developed as a modern healthcare facility integrating highly energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and sustainable technologies. This approach will provide robust infrastructure that reduces the environmental impact of healthcare services while supporting long-term operational efficiency.

The hospital complex is planned as an integrated healthcare center equipped with emergency services, general wards, advanced diagnostic and treatment units, operating rooms, intensive care units, and laboratories. In addition, the project is designed to play a strategic role in military healthcare services, with high-security areas and specialized service units tailored to the requirements of military healthcare.
