Napoca Children’s Hospital - Romania
Cluj - Romania
The Cluj-Napoca Children’s Hospital Project, to be developed in Cluj, Romania, is a major healthcare investment aimed at strengthening the region’s healthcare infrastructure and delivering high-standard pediatric healthcare services. The project involves the construction of a new children’s hospital equipped with modern healthcare technologies.
With a total construction area of 100,543 m² and a capacity of 587 beds, the project is planned as one of the region’s most comprehensive pediatric healthcare centers. The 30 operating rooms within the eight-storey hospital have been designed to enable advanced diagnostic and treatment processes to be carried out efficiently and safely. Developed with a functional planning approach, user-centered spatial design, and advanced technical infrastructure, the project is designed to meet the standards expected of contemporary healthcare facilities.
In addition to the hospital building, the project includes outdoor and indoor parking areas, as well as a rooftop helipad designed to support efficient emergency medical operations. Designed with a modern architectural approach, functional planning, and technical infrastructure in line with international healthcare facility standards, the project is being developed to combine user comfort with operational efficiency. The contract for the project was signed in March 2025, and the project is planned for completion within 48 months. Upon completion, Cluj-Napoca Children’s Hospital will make a significant contribution to Romania’s healthcare infrastructure through its modern architectural approach, robust technical infrastructure, and high service capacity, while serving as a benchmark healthcare complex for the region.
